The Epic features an attached, yet removable Gaiter that provides extra hoof protection, increased stability and protection from outside elements; keeps excess dirt and debris from getting into boot. Also helps keep boot on during extreme conditions such as mud, snow and water crossings. New lower profile Comfort Strap with beveled edges makes application easier, as well as increased comfort and a better fit for the horse. Improved cast buckle system offers numerous adjustments. All hard portions of the boot ride below the hairline; insures no chafing around the coronary band and completely eliminates joint interference. Includes permanent cleat covers and 20% more tread than Regular Easyboot. Beveled toe provides natural breakover. Stays on as well as nailed-on shoes, but can easily be removed and put right back on. Ideal for the barefoot horse, muddy conditions, or for a horse who is difficult to keep booted.
